Kudahuvadhoo islanders spotted low-flying mystery aircraft in hours after MH370 disappearance

On Tuesday 18 March 2014 two news outlets in the Maldives - Minivan News and Haveeru Online - published articles detailing a sighting of an aircraft by residents of Kuda Huvadhoo in Dhaal Atoll on 8th March. The key components of the story are summarised below:-

- a white aircraft, with red stripes across it (Haveeru Online)
- flying very low and it had a red straight line in the middle of it (Minivan News)
